August 2011-Football, Birthday, and Back to School

As soon as the calendar turns to August, it seems like the fleeting season of summer is over, and our whole lives turn to back to school.  The beginning of that process is football.  Jake started football practice every day, and Tyler and Joey soon followed.  Jake ended the pre-season with a Jamboree at Bronco Stadium.  He had a great time, and got to meet with a few cool Boise State players.

This year, Megan turned 12, so she had a pretty special birthday.  First, some of the beehives from our ward came and decorated her room to welcome her to Young Womens.  She also had a family party with us, and then got to have the ever-wonderful friend birthday party.  I think all in all, it was a great success.

After all of the festivities, it was finally time to go back to school.  Megan was a 7th grader, and got to go to middle school.  She left for school about 2.5 hours before the other kids, so it is a little darker in her picture.  Jake and Tyler are in 5th and 3rd  grades.

All ready for Middle School!
